What traditions does your family have?
Have you kept the traditions you had growing up, or have you got different ones? |

our tradition relates to xmas...when I was very little...we were quite poor...however we didnt know this...my parents would buy one toy/gift each for myself and my brothers....they also made up a pillowcase filled with knick knacks, some lollies, a can of drink, pencils etc....mainly cheap stuff.....but wow did we love getting them...so when DD1 came along(she is 23)...I did the same for her...and now do the same for Chelsea too.....DD1 asked if I would give her one last xmas....I said 'but you are grown up"...she said even though that is true...these were the memories that meant so much to her when she was growing up...so I did make one up(more age appropriate of course heheheh)
the other thing is that I always read 'the night before xmas" to my kids each and every xmas eve _________________
